Installation instructions inside the tarballs
« on: June 11, 2008, 02:58:16 am »
Hi, I read the readme-en.txt in the SFML-1.2 archive, and I read this:

Quote
To install and use SFML with your favorite compiler, go to the tutorials web page :

http://sfml.sourceforge.net/tutorials/

I think it would be better if a text-only version was available so we don't have to depend on the website to do the installation. Thanks.

Sincerely,

Rick.

How about including all of the tutorials in the documentation? I go on vacation alot where I don't have access to internet and that would be really nice.

Tutorials are written in PHP and use the website's template. Making them available offline would mean maintaining a separate version of all of them, which is a little bit too much as I already maintain the tutorials for all versions of SFML (including the SVN one). Sorry :(
