I've just came across this absolutely fabulous 2D rendering engine: http://www.antigrain.com/

Do you think it's a good idea to integrate it to SFML as an alternative rendering method? And get lots of pedantically implemented vector graphics features!

AGG hasn't been worked on since 2006, its templet based as opposed to class based and there is only software rendering.

Do you know any alternatives of the same quality level?

Cairo?

Which I think is being added in a project.

Also I think Laurent has said he might eventually add vector support, not sure though.

Cairo will not (i believe) and should not be included in SFML, it is pretty easy to integrate cairo into sfml using a simple image based class (like so http://www.sfml-dev.org/wiki/en/sources/cairoshape) and using that to draw vector based graphics and svg.
