Title: Just a quick, newbie, question
Post by: PyroOfZen on April 19, 2013, 01:34:05 pm
First post and not sure if it should go here.

As the title suggests, I have a question that needs answering.

I plan on posting a project of mine and was wondering if adf.ly links would be allowed. I made a simple game from scratch (graphics, sounds, etc) using SFML.

Thanks.

It's not stated otherwise anywhere at least.

If I'd were to use it, I'd provide an advertised and a non advertised link, so people get a choice. ;)

I recommend SFML Uploads (see my signature).

Although I agree, I don't really see how it's directly connected to the topic. adf.ly is only a link advertising service, i.e. you get some ads shown before you're taken to the actual content, so you don't host any files there. ;)

Ah, I read too quickly. Anyway, a discussion won't make much sense, Laurent is the one to decide that :)

I don't care.

This. If I click a link and am redirected to intermediate ads, I close the tab immediately and continue on with my life and make a mental note to never click that link again (which means I would never see your finished project).
