Is there going to be window transparency in SFML2?

That's a heavily operating-specific feature and not of much use for games so I don't see official support ever coming.

Probably not comming because of that, not all operating systems support it. Like Linux with X-server don't support it but with Compiz plugin it does. and not of much use for games so I don't see official support ever coming.
Erhm, SFML is not designed to be aimed for games :P

Ok, so I'm building a linux file manager.. with compiz i can do..
window.Clear(sf::Color(0,0,0,100);

Most of what I've seen SFML used for is games (>75%?), but point taken.

If you wanted to do it yourself, it's SetLayeredWindowAttribute on Windows.
