Title: Open Watcom Support
Post by: stdq on August 17, 2013, 11:02:56 pm
Hi, it there any way Open Watcom can be supported for use with SFML? Open Watcom is still under development (the latest release is from 2010), and can also be used for commercial purposes. Thanks in advance!

Who uses it, and for what?

Open Watcom provides a C/C++ compiler, although I'm not sure if it is widely used by big companies. It was just a sugestion, though.

So you want me to add support for a compiler that nobody uses, and you don't even have a good reason to request it? Yeah sure, I have plenty of time to waste :P

Uff, games like Doom, Duke Nukem 3D and Command & Conquer were built using that compiler. That IS a while ago...

What exactly doesn't work with SFML on watcom? Did you even try it?

I'm really hoping he meant to ask for precompiled libraries for Watcom, since the question makes no sense at all otherwise.
