As requested a lot here in the forums, but always mentioned indirectly in posts (like 1 (http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=14601.msg102837#msg102837), 2 (http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=14713.msg103937#msg103937), 3 (http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=10560.msg72849#msg72849), 4 (http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=7717.msg51335#msg51335), ...) and because I think it is an important feature for the website, it is time to make a thread for it :D
I think the idea should be clear to most of you, but here is why it is important imo:
- A large amount of code could easily be hidden under the spoiler, so a reader doesn't have to scroll down the hole code and can have a look at the files individially (if the writer made them seperate, ofc :D)
- In a project post, you could hide pictures and/or videos (and for mobile users I think they only load if you open the spoiler, but I am not sure)
The syntax may look like this:

Which may create this spoiler:

I hope it is possible to add this tag, if the creator(s) of this website find the time to do it, because it could really help improving the readability of many posts.
Thanks and greetings, Geheim!

Yea this would be useful and save space in our monitors too ;D I entirely support this idea.

Wow, I didn't expect that :o
-
Awesome indeed!
But there seems to be something wrong with the button image. It looks like the wrong background image is used and Firebug tells me that http://www.sfml-dev.org/forums/Themes/ds-natural_20/images/bbc/spoiler.gif could not be found.
-
Are you sure? I can't find where the image is used, from what I've seen (andaccording to the various screenshots of the mod) it's just a regular button element with the default style.
-
Hmm weird... For me (Win8 + Firefox 29) it looks like the attached image.
-
On the phone (using Chrome), it looks like followed:
-
Ah yeah seems to be "broken". I guess the main confusion was, that you didn't specify what button. ;)
So yes, the button that you use to insert a spoiler tag, misses an icon.
-
Oh, that button... I'll fix it as soon as possible.
-
Fixed. Sorry for the delay.
-
This icon is extreme. :D

Haha, I like it. ;D
