Title: What's the big difference between SFML 2.0 and 1.x?

I was searching around the site, forums, and wiki, and I don't see anything obviously posted on the topic.  What am I missing out on by using 1.6?   :(

You can look at the roadmap to see what's new. Use the advanced search to see closed tasks due in version 2.0.
