Hy,
First of all my dektopresolution is 1680x1050. (16:10)
When i create a window in fullscreenmode with 1680x1050 it fills my display completely, as expected. The same goes for 1440×900 (16:10), i have no borders.
But when i create a window with the resolution 1280x800 (16:10 too), i have very big borders at the top and bottom of my screen.
Can someone tell me a logic reason for this?
btw OS:Win8Pro 64bit, AMD 6850 (Latest driver)

Can you provide a screenshot?
Have you tested the resolution with other applications?

Your monitor doesn't support this resolution. In catalyst control center you can enable GPU scaling.

Ok, i tested it in Cs:go, DirectX to except that its OpenGL´s fault, but i have the same "borders"
It looks like krzat has right, but i cant find the "GPU scaling" in my catalyst control center...
thanks for your replies

I have it under My Digital Flat-Panels -> Properties, in advenced view.

I have only VGA-Panels, but its ok. I test my Apps now in windowmode and make a final test on my laptop.
