Title: Crush!
Post by: fallahn on February 16, 2015, 11:32:31 am
I've been working on this a few months now, so it's time to make the initial, buggy, incomplete, yet playable version public :)

http://youtu.be/g574U0Zlyf8

The repo is here (https://github.com/fallahn/crush) (tested on Windows / ubuntu) and there's a YouTube playlist (http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4-TasR6jHx5ruSNQ0p9bwXTlnAmjZf11) documenting the evolution of the game over the last few months. The windows version also includes a map editor for creating new maps.

Postmortem (http://trederia.blogspot.com/2015/02/crush-breakdown-part-1-scene-setup.html) (in progress)

It looks pretty good and fun!
Have you got a Windows pre-compiled version? You should release it on GitHub, more people would give it a try.

Thanks! The sounds are all from sfxr.

You mean put binaries on github? The source is already here (https://github.com/fallahn/crush). I don't feel like maintaining up to date binaries - with the VS solution and cmake file included it's pretty easy to build.

I don't like platformers but this one is very nice.
