Title: [SOLVED] SMF displays weird post time
Post by: sjaustirni on December 22, 2016, 01:02:11 pm
Hey!

I have just noticed how weird the time is displayed on this forum.  As it can be seen in the attachment, it appears that the replies had been sent before the thread was even created. I don't know if this is caused just by my messed up time settings (although I don't remember changing them) or if everyone sees it like this. (Here's the link to the topic (http://en.sfml-dev.org/forums/index.php?topic=21272.0))

Could something be done about it? I mean, it's not too bad, but it annoys me :D

12-hour clock system can be confusing for people used to 24-hour clocks (like me). But If I remember correctly, 12:00:33 am is 33 seconds after midnight. So this time is before the other replies' time, everything is ok.

Yes, 12 am is midnight while 12 pm is noon. If it helps you could think of a.m. as "after midnight". Keep in mind though, that this not the actual meaning. ;)

As for the forum, you change how time is displayed by going to your profile settings "Look and Feel Layout".

12-hour system, I haven't seen this one for a while :)

@eXpl0it3r: Thank you, I have found it under the "Look and Layout" tab. No more 12-hour weirdness :D
