Title: K Station: An old-school adventure game, now FREE on Steam!
Post by: yparghi on March 30, 2021, 04:34:23 pm
Here's the link: https://store.steampowered.com/app/471720/K_Station/

I made K Station 5 years ago using SFML, and launched it on Steam. It flopped then -- but it's free now! If you're into adventure games (especially the old school like Space Quest, Grim Fandango, Zork...), then this one's for you.

I said it back then when I announced the original launch here, but SFML was a lot of fun to work with. Any bugs in the game I knew were my fault!

Have fun -

Awesome to see it available again on Steam!
I saw that there was an update the other day and was wondering why :)

I still need to try and progress some more.

Despite the fact that text driven adventure games genre is not present anymore, it remind me of youth days which I’ve spend playing games like King’s quest, Quest for glory (and other Sierra like ones ;) ).

I’m not far into the story yet (mostly because I’m stuck ;)), yet the plot and artwork are just amazing.
What’s most important.. your game is just fun to play!  :)

Thank you very much for creating and sharing this “little masterpiece”!
