Title: osx permissions
Post by: swansone on August 20, 2021, 08:35:24 pm
I am brand new to SFML and would love to use it for graphics development on my Mac. Advice for noobs on

(i) how to install library files into the appropriate places

(ii) how to overcome osx refusing to run the software because the dylib files are not from a trusted vendor

would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome :)

You can find the tutorial on how to install SFML on macOS here: https://www.sfml-dev.org/tutorials/2.5/start-osx.php

Under Security & Privacy you can allow apps from "Anywhere".
See here (https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202491) or here (https://it.nmu.edu/docs/allowing-third-party-applications-install-macbook)
