General / [SOLVED] SFML 2.0 application doesn't appear w/ Windows 8

After installing Windows 8 on one of my PCs I noticed that when running SFML 2.0 applications the sf::Window will not appear in the foreground but can only be viewed through the application preview on dock. Attempts at maximizing the window have failed. The program was compiled using Visual Studio 2010 on Windows 7 with static libraries. I don't know if it's worth mentioning but I'm trying to run the program on a MacBook Pro with a Nvidia 320M GPU. Thanks in advance!
