Lolilolight, have you ever heard of deferred shading ?

Sorry but I find the arrow in the pentagon non-natural and too heavy.

They're attached if anyone wants a look. Either way, a decision sounds like a good idea and I fully support the power pentagons.
1 Dark and 2 Light in particular are nice.
Spine Tailed Swift, fastest bird at level flight
Peregrine Falcon, fastest bird in a freefall
The logo with the peregrine falcon and the sine wave together (or the linear one) is a great idea that should really be taken is consideration!
It gives the feeling of a fast library, and an animal is more appealing and singular than a simple symbol.
For sure it should be improved !

I like it krzat, but the ellipse seems to belong to the past now ! 
I tried to colorize/texture one of the previous Cornstalk logo, with gold effect for the text and green for the logo.
That's not perfect but it could give some ideas to people :

I think that the SFML is a modern library and should really use a futurist font for its logo, like in the 5°, 6° or 7° iteration. Laurent, could we see a preview of the website ? That may help a lot to choose the color and the effects.
