Java / Few questions

Hi,
First, excuse my english which can be bad...
I'have a few questions about the JAVA Binding in SFML.
I plan to develop a game with SFML and I want that game be played on windows, linux, and MacOs X.
Is SFML with JAVA a good idee to do that ?
Risk I to have any troubles with this solution ?
Will JSFML continue to be developed in the future ?
