Java / Re: jsfml-test not running

Oh God, I can't believe it, it was a driver related issue again. I didn't take it into account since I installed the dell suggested drivers, but apparently I had to install the ones from ATI website.

Java / jsfml-test not running
« on: January 18, 2014, 07:54:30 pm »
Hey guys, here I am again. I just reinstalled windows 8 because of some problems I had, and then I encountered a problem with the jsfml-test jar file. When I tried to run it by double clicking it nothing happened, so I tried to execute it from the command prompt, and apparently something's wrong. Since I'm not sure about what all this means, I took a screenshot of the output. Any ideas on what's going on?

Yeah, I only realized later that ATI Catalyst drivers weren't installed (I guess windows installed some different drivers..), now everything works just fine  :) thanks very much!

Java / Graphics card issue
« on: January 13, 2014, 09:28:07 am »
Hi guys,

I recently switched to win 8, and tried to run the jsfml-test appliation, but when I open it it says: "Your graphcs card doesn't support shaders". The point is, on win 7 i never got this message.. I checked for graphics card driver updates but it seems that the latest drivers are installed. Any suggestions?

Java / Soundbuffers and sounds
« on: December 27, 2013, 08:47:24 pm »
Hi guys, I was trying to play some sounds, I was reading the wiki and I found the following statement:
Quote
multiple sounds can be played (simultaneously) using the same sound buffer.
Does this mean I can play different sounds using the same soundbuffer? Or does it mean I can play the same sound many times simoultaneously, and for different sounds I'll need different soundbuffers? Thanks in advance  :)

I'd like to thank you for this fantastic binding, I really like the library. Also, very well documented, the tutorials are super useful! If I find any bug, I'll let you know  :) keep it up!
