Greetings to the community. I'm not a frequent poster in most forums but I wanted to say "thank you" to the dev(s) and others who have created and worked on SFML. I recently retired and now have some free time to pursue game creation interests. I've been casting around for a suitable graphics library, tried a few, even delved into OpenGL and Vulkan low level stuff but wasn't happy with my progress. (The last time I did any graphics programming was when Borland's BGI was popular.)
Then I discovered SFML and everything clicked. While my professional background is in C, I've been wanting to get into C++ and I think this is a great opportunity. SFML is a gem. I hope to contribute at some future time but until then, again, thank you.
Cheers and be well.
