Exactly who is in charge of making the Linux packages? When I looked in ubuntu's repository I found no sfml packages. If no ones making them I'll gladly help with ubuntu.

I know that the Debian game team maintains SFML packages for Debian, but that's all I'm aware of.

Ubuntu has packages here. They are available if you enable all repos in synaptic.
