I made a simple audio recording program to record input from my guitar. It works but the recording has a lot of what sounds like hard clipping. I know it's not the hardware setup as I can get clean input in other applications. Here are some examples. Both are played clean with no sort of amplification recorded at a 44100 sample rate. The second example drags a little on the site and will need to be buffered a bit.
