Example Source code
« on: July 23, 2012, 06:57:17 pm »
It's not a feature but it would be useful if Source Code for examples in SFML 2.0 package would be available. I searched every folder and all I could find was the .exe files.

Yeah I'd also find it more use full to provide the source with the binaries, because the sense of the examples is to get an idea on how to use SFML.
Of course you can get the source for the examples from SFML source at GitHub.

Ok, but they would get shipped without build files; if I include CMake files I'll have to include SFML sources too, and that would be confusing in my opinion.
And if I don't provide the build files, I think I'll get a lot of "how to compile the examples??" posts on the forum.

I don't get this comment... ???
What should be for SFML 1.6?

You shouldn't even want to use SFML 1.6.
And there are Binaries for the SFML 2rc on the download page.

You shouldn't reply by editing a post which is above what you answer... Combined with your previous reply which was out of its context, this discussion is becoming quite unreadable ;)

We really don't care about the post count, just keep the discussion readable ;)
