I just switched to Linux... So far i used Atom to edit my code but can someone recommend an IDE. I'm using Xubuntu if that matters.

We already had a discussion about IDEs, please don't start another one. I'm sure you'll find enough information on the Internet regarding that topic.

This forum is about SFML, not personal favors regarding IDEs and editors.
