Hardware requirements

Hello SFML-Community,

this is my first activity in this forum. Please don't hate me for my bad english. I'm from Germany. Sorry, if this theme doesn't fit into this category.

I'm going to use sfml for my games, but in my school there are only bad pc's withoout any 3d-graphics-card. So ,my question is, if i'm able to run my compiled programms with using the sfml-graphics part without any problems? I think sfml-sprites are based on textured ogl vertex-quads. Does sfml has got any full softwaremode like in the sdl, that allows me to run programms without any 3d-hardware?

thank you for your answers.

btw: This is my current Game-Projekt. It's very popular in German Indie-Scene and bases on DirectX:

Greetings, Fred

Samyboy
