Will SFML work with Visual Studio 2022?
« on: May 13, 2022, 10:19:05 pm »
Its been quite a long time since i played around with SFML but I would like t6o start learning again so I downloaded it and got it working with VS 2022, im just wondering if there are any issues that might arise from this or if i should download 2017 and use it with that? or will 2022 be fine?

Yes, you can use the VS 2017 builds with VS 2022.

You can also get snapshot builds: https://artifacts.sfml-dev.org/by-branch/2.6.x/

Personally I recommend to always build from source, it's easier than one expects at first and once equipped with some CMake knowledge, it opens up a whole new world.
