I also checked your homepage and found out that you did some neat games in the past. But writing C++ must really be learned, and you can't do it "while learning SFML". SFML
is written in a very good C++, and to keep the level, you need some more funded C++ knowledge. There're plenty of good books out there, and I really encourage you to read them. Or at least read a lot source code from others.
Besides from that: keep your work up! Even when people say "OMG!!1! GO LEARN C++!!!1!", they're mostly forgetting the point that they also had to learn it one day and were thankful for every help they could get. But in fact, they're at least partially right: please get a good book.
