There isn't one yet, but someone is creating one at the moment. Hopefully he'll be done shortly. Check the thread I mentioned above to see when it's done.

Yep, you can. However you have to render them one after each other by yourself (Expose()). Position and size can be set with AllocateSize().

With layouters it's probably much easier. Any specific reason not to use them? (you don't need to create a window at all, it works without, if that's the concern).
