Hi everyone.
I'd like to introduce the project I'm working on!
It's a Role Play Game made by using C++ & SFML...
Wonder why it's called "Sketch"? Well, because of the graphics. All the graphics are/will be made by drawing and scanning them. The only editing is done using GIMP to get the right size of Images!

The game is in a very early state because I'm working on my own. And this is what I'm looking for:
A 2D artist for the graphics
Requirements:
 - Good to very good skills in drawing comic-style
 - A scanner to scan the images
 - Time for the project

Well..not exactly, but something in it's direction. Not as complex as Diablo...more like Zelda!

A cool idea to justify your "Sketch" title, instead of just making an excuse for some bad drawing skillz, is to allow the player to draw it's own objects. =p

A man has developper a nice little Shmup maker for Ipod, where the user can draw it's ship, ennemy, stage on a papersheet, take a photo of it and the game proceed the photo then import the skin to be used in the game editor.

I'm seeing cool things with something like that with your rpg, just like :
- Oh great, I found a legendary... thing... with +40 strengh and 10% attack speed. No skin. I'll make it a hammer! *Draw, scan, import* Ok I made a fly swatter!

- Yay, a new weapon... +30 ranged skills, nice range... A bow? *Draw, scan, import* No way, shotguns are far better!

And with a small online support :
- Look at my shotgun! +30 ranged, it hurt as hell and is fucking cool!
- I PWN U NOOB LOL
*You received 4366 damages from Arthur's Kukumber on a stik!*
*You are dead*
- I mean, how the hell can I die from cucumber on a stick...?

Would be sooooooooooooo sweet!

Well this would be really great. But I think it's more than my skills allow me to do :P This would go over to artificial neuronal networks section.
Actually I'm taking a seminar to this kind of informatics, but I don't think I'll be able to do this in a short time. So this won't be a feature of this game. But it's a great Idea! Maybe I'll try something like this after I completed the seminar for artificial neuronal networks. ;)

But for now a update:
Map-system is almost done. I'll just finish my selfmade map-editor and then paste a new video on youtube ;)

Awesome! I really like this, I'm taking art lessons, but atm I'm no good at any kind. So sorry about that. I really did like your game a whole lot though. I would say already beyond my skill level, I'm still working on getting the bugs out of my tetris.

Also, big kudos on sticking with it a month. I have a lot of difficulty past that point.
