I made up a presentation about Huffman-Coding and presented last monday. I wrote a matrix-like slide which served as a cool prologue, I was just unlucky that the beamer wasn't with me ;(
In brief: the slide itself just displays different pseudo-random lists (be careful: only the beginning and the speed is pseudo-random, the flow is of course calculateable) in the different cols starting with an empty screen. That can run for hours, if you wish, until you press the arrow-down key; than a predefined title will appear in the middle of the screen, seems like mumbo jumbo, but isn't ^^
