Vertical Synchronization doesn't work!
« on: June 13, 2012, 03:51:38 pm »
I used to use sfml 1.6 and i never had any problems with it, but recently i changed to sfml2 rc and vertical sync just doesn't work when i enable it.
I have no clue what might be the cause and are there any solutions?
Framerate should be locked at 60 because my monitor's refreshrate is 60hz.
My graphics card is GeForce GT 440 1gb and i have the latest drivers.

UTSF = use the search function  ;D

There are many posts about vertical sync or framerate limit not working which would show up in the search...

Also you sometimes have to set the driver settings to allow other programs to set the VSync or I think sometimes you even only set it over those settings.

Nothing has changed between SFML 1.6 and 2.0 regarding the vertical synchronization function. Make sure that you didn't change anything else, like your graphics driver.
