Open Source 2d Space Shooter Game Using SFML

Just a PROTIP: Save your images as png (or jpg) to save yourself (and others) from lousy low-color gifs.

I somewhat like the 256 color graphics, they kinda remind me on old games I played years ago.

Keep up the work, I'm looking forward to see the gameplay.

Hi...

Was hoping for more feedback, as this is my 1st try at SFML.

Anyway, I am happy to report that after just two weeks,
my SFML based 2d shooter called "Last Defense 100%™"
has officially gone BETA...

Please check it out! It is 100% stable and 90% completed...
I'll put the finishing touches on it this upcoming week.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but isn't it illegal to use the ® symbol if the trademark isn't actually registered?

You can't just add ® everywhere irresponsibly. It actually means something. As far as I know SFML is not a registered trademark, so you cannot add the symbol on the SFML logo (or your own Silent Hero Productions for that matter, unless you've actually registered it with your local patent and trademark office).

I never made such claim; I was merely pointing out the problem with posting (screen shots) about a game project that was missing the 'game' part.

I think you have absolutely no idea what registered and unregistered trademarks and copyright are nor do, so I thought I'd let you know you're using them wrong... Does that make me a jerk?

Although you are right about the trademarks not being legal, anyone can in fact put the copyright symbol on any work that is theirs and it is 100% legal. Word of advice to the author, get rid of the TM's and keep the copyrights. Nice game btw

Please delete the game completely from your computer
and never visit this post ever again.

I spent like 3 days on this game.
I admit that the game is shallow.
It was more of a demo for me to see what can be done with SFML.

Hi Kreeg (Again),

Never said it was the work of my life.
It was my 1st use of SFML.
I released the sources to others who are learning SFML.
If someone gets something from the game and/or the sources then I am happy.
Sorry you hate my SFML game/demo...
