What's it all about?
The SFML community is rather active and it's hard to keep yourself up-to-date with the latest discussions or project presentations. I'm spending quite a bit of my time reading the forum, reading the Discord, Twitter, or Fediverse posts, and looking at GitHub discussions, thus I don't tend to miss the latest updates and projects. But instead of keeping everything to myself, I'm writing some short recaps on various project presentations, discussions and other community news.

Where does that all happen?
All the posts will be published on my development blog. Since I'm using that blog for more than just SFML News, you can also just keep checking the SFML News category.

What can I do?
It's always nice to get some feedback in the comments, here on the forum, or in the #showcase Discord channel.
You're also free to share it via all the social media (Twitter, Fediverse, your own blog) you know! :)

In your Box2D port there is a typo:
Quote
directory structur.
In your post:
Quote
the author is a really go programmer
I think you meant good, unless it's some slang(??), and if it is then it's bad slang because go programmer makes me think of someone who uses http://golang.org/

It's very nice read even if I keep up to date with all posts. :D
Oh, and there is 1-2 years old version of rube that is integrated with box2d test bed code and uses gl and glui and is generally clunky but completely free.

Quote
There seems to have been a lot of changes, even changing the programming language for C++ to C# but still using SFML.
This sentence makes no sense, something is wrong, maybe for was from or to was from, depending if c++ or C# was final one.

In your Box2D port there is a typo:
Thanks! It's fixed locally, will get fixed with the next changes. ;)

Can you point me to it, since I don't see anything in the current source code.

This sentence makes no sense, something is wrong, maybe for was from or to was from, depending if c++ or C# was final one.
Another typo, thanks!

It's not official, http://www.iforce2d.net/rube-free/ , it's just integrated into test bed(by iforce, author of rube pro and free, his tutorials are probably the prime resource about box2d) and can load/save on the fly and edit paused scene and then unpause it plus all testbed functionality and a good bunch of hardcoded tests, I think it's not open source. The only official way box2d supports 'serialization' is dumping test bed compatible code into b2Log(std err by default).

It is interesting to read your blog since I do not always read all of the posts in the projects section :D

Too bad my VideoStreamer didn't make the cut this week  :-\
Motion / MotionNET - Complete video / audio playback for SFML / SFML.NET

NetEXT - An SFML.NET Extension Library based on Thor

It's already on the list for next week. Given the amount of new projects popping up, I tend to miss one or the other and only see them after releasing the post. ;)

It's an honor to have my project listed too :D

Thanks for the hard work! It's very handy having all other projects grouped together like this :)
