Nice!

The in-game graphics are looking very good in my opinion, but the GUI might be polished a little bit more. It looks too simple for me, like placeholder graphics. Maybe you can add some "noise", "structure" or similar.

Waiting for the release for debiting my Google Wallet. :P

Thanks for the feedback Tank, it is very much appreciated!!

Fortunately, your opinion matches 100% of the people that looked at it before. That said, the UI was something we HAD to change before release, and its being done. It already took a complete overhaul and should be about ready for release in the next week(s) hopefully.

I personally am proud of the new aspect for the game, I can only hope everyone will share my view of it hehe :)

As soon as we're finished looking at the missing details in graphics while adding some more sounds in the process, we will only take a few more days for testing it a bit more and trying to crash it. Then it should be released right away.

Thanks for the support guys, means a lot!

I tend to agree with Tank about the UI.

I did some kind of similar project as my first SFML real game (some time ago, SFML 1.6 time) and I did have difficulties for UI too.
Here is what it looks like, mas o menos : http://loicboutter.fr/projet-galaxy

I don't have the sources/assets right now (maybe on an external hdd somewhere), but feel free to be inspired or not.

I'll definitively play it on my android phone :)

Thanks for your support! Like I said, the new UI is way better and I think people will enjoy it way more hehe :)

The user interface in your game looked good in some aspects, but too simple as it consisted mainly of plain colors for the multiple parts of the really good layout you had. Good job on that ^^

Anyway, user interface usually is important but it doesn't make or break a game in many cases. I've seen lately multiple games coming out, being successful while keeping the UI dull(depends on the opinion of course)

That's true, but it shouldn't look like placeholder graphics and at least should match the theme. Lukki (eXpl0it3r) showed me the redesigned UI, and it's looking muuuuch better now. :)

Thank you!! Still working on it, I want it to come out as beautiful as possible :)

From now on, I demand the privilege to call him Lukki too hehe :)

Thank you sir! An undercover agent dropped by to give me some intel. This may or may not be the new design:

The gray-blue theme looks really nice. You probably shouldn't exaggerate with the glow (especially at the cogwheel). What I find a bit inconsistent are the resource symbols at the top: two of them are Win8-style oversimplified, while the crystal has colors and depth. A middle way might be appropriate :)

helluva UI!
helluva? Martin, are you alright? :D

I'm fine with the glow in the UI, but the cog does indeed not fit (told Lukki about it as well, I think he redirected it to you?). The camera icon does fit better -- even if not finished. ;)

Yep, that slightly transparent pane got me  ;)
Aside from that I know how it sucks to get a GUI right and visually appealing. This UI is decent in that regard.
For scifi games I like GUIs that are sleak and minimalistic. This is, more or less, therefore it's "helluva GUI".
Savvy?  :P

Btw: Go away with your glow blah. It's great! More glow!!!!!!111 WE NEED MOAH GLOW!!!!111
