Templates not appearing in Xcode
« on: June 06, 2018, 02:47:35 am »
Hello, I am having trouble installing the templates for Xcode 8.1. I follow exactly what the the installation instructions say at https://www.sfml-dev.org/tutorials/2.5/start-osx.php

"Copy the SFML directory from templates to /Library/Developer/Xcode/Templates (create the folders if they don't exist yet)."

I've done this dozens of times, rebooted multiple times, still nothing showing up in templates...

I don't know why this isn't working. Perhaps it's a high sierra issue? Just upgraded my OS but I'm not sure.

Been trying to figure this out for 2 hours now so if anyone has any advice, please help me out. Thanks.

Hiura

Make sure you haven't put the templates in ~/Library/... but indeed at the root of the filesystem (no ~). Use Cmd+Shift+G to go to a given directory in Finder.
