A Box2D x SFML proof of concept
« on: July 17, 2011, 03:14:17 pm »
Hello there. Months ago I tried to explore SDL and SFML. At last, I've implemented a game using the lastest SFML 2 snapshot:D . The physics engine is Box2D. The game is only a tech demo at the moment: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=19LZWer0AgE

I would like to thank the SFML team. The library is powerful and easy to use. (Yeah, and it's using cmake!) And I would also like to thank Haze, the creator of cosmoscroll for his concept of sprite animation mechanism.

Really sorry that the game is a bit "political".

Thanks again.

Very cool and impressive.  Wish I could understand the language, but the gameplay looks very smooth.  Great job.

Looks really cool :) Could you elaborate more about the current issues in hongkong, and how they are "sleeping"?

Sorry for my late reply.

@GatorQue, .teri, Haikarainen, AngelHoof, and all
Thanks!

Haven't touched the project for weeks,
the last bug-guaranteed release is available at:

@Haikarainen
In short, the "one country two system" is simply fake. HK government now serves not as a servant to the people, but as the servant to only Beijing government and property developers. The average living and working standards here in HK are poor thanks to the political hegemony, developer hegemony and business monopoly approved and encouraged. Other evil policies such as the socially irresponsible immigration system are also the crux of the problem. Democracy? Universal suffrage in 2017? Yeah, we might have that --- in the CCP way. The government is currently planning to deprive people of even the right to vote in by-elections. The judicial independence is being undermined...

Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm proud to introduce a luxury apartment in HK:

Average HK people are "political indifferent" due to the historically stable living conditions in the past, and the hard brain-washing work done by the CCP propaganda department. Pulling others out of the Matrix is difficult, but I'm willing to try whatever to make some noise. I think I shall stop here, or 50 cent party will ruin this forum just like they did to many forums.

Thank you for reading. T_T
