I like the idea of searching new fonts and trying new concepts (animal silouhettes).

The logo of the IRC guy is very clean, but it looks like a sport brand.

The last one is interesting too.

It's great to see new ideas coming up :)

I'm digging the irc one (nice font, black on shocking blue is cool, very clean), but personally I'd take out the... whatever that thing is around the logo that looks like a Cylon raider. Andy maybe the 2. Other than that I really like it.

I'm also liking SuperV1234's. Very different direction, but I like it.

krzat, I think those are much better than the earlier ones with lots of the icons!

Stole some ideas and played with them :) Colors could be played with more. If I get bored again today I'll play around with some more ideas.

ok, this is my last logo .. the pentagon represents the 5 different modules of sfml. the font is droid sans. i'm getting way too distracted by this, so I'm outta here. good luck with the logo everyone! :)

I don't know. Maybe I am the only one around, but I really like current SFML logo! And I don't think it's necessary to get a new logo, just because a new version is released.
But I really like the idea of a mascot. I think SFML should have one. Personally I like the raptor a lot. I'd suggest a funny, comic style one. But again that's just my preference :)
